Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q’s)

Can I get a connection?

Great news we are building our network starting Autumn 2020, so please bear with us. You can register interest here, and as soon as we are ready to bring our service to your address, street, area, village or town we’ll let you know.

What is installed at my property?

We’ll install a small antenna. The size of the antenna will depend on how far your property is from our network. Our smallest antenna is roughly the size of a large smartphone and our larger antenna’s are smaller than a satellite T.V. dish. From the antenna we’ll install a small cable into your property and connect this to a router, not dissimilar to the type you’d get with a traditional broadband connection. This router needs to be connected to a regular electrical socket and has built-in Wi-Fi, allowing you to enjoy stress-free Internet browsing without wires throughout your property.*

How much does it cost?

Our service starts from £29.99 per month, but depending on your needs, you can opt for a faster service and pay the difference. Our pricing for home Broadband is here and for Business Broadband is here. You may also be eligible for FREE installation, depending on where you are, as grant funding may be available. Click here to find out if you qualify for a free installation. For addresses that don’t qualify for free installation our prices start at £180.00** and this cost can be spread over 4 months to make it easier.

Do I need a phone line?

No. Unlike conventional broadband our service does not require a landline.

Can I use the connection for any kind of Internet use i.e. streaming movies, online gaming etc?

Yes, you should consider our service in exactly the same way as you would a cable connection – only without a cable.***

Is this 5G?

No, this is Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), however 5G really only means 5th generation technology, so it isn’t something anyone should be wary of.

I’ve heard Wireless isn’t reliable, especially in bad weather. Is that correct?

No. Our network is being designed by our in-house experts whom are trusted by large business organisations to deliver ‘always-on’ connectivity for their business critical needs. Wireless isn’t new technology and most of us use it every day.

What happens if something goes wrong?

We’ll be monitoring our network 24/7/365 and in the unlikely event of an issue, we have an in-house team ready to put it right. You’ll be able to contact us if you experience a problem and we’ll fix it without delay. If the problem turns out to be something that’s happened outside of our control we’ll let you know and keep you updated by text or email or via our website (though we do understand you might not be able to access that if your broadband is down).

Can I get a fixed I.P. address?

Yes, fixed I.P. addresses add £7.50 per month each.

Can I get a phone line or service from you?

Yes, our phone packages are detailed here for Home broadband and here for Business broadband.

*We can’t guarantee our router will provide whole of property Wi-Fi coverage for every home or business, however we can extend the reach of our router by installing additional Wi-Fi Access Points (AP) at an additional cost. Please ask us for a quote.

**This price is for a standard installation, which includes a standard antenna bracket, up to 20 metres of external grade cable, internal router with Wi-Fi. Installations that do not meet this criteria will incur additional charges. Please ask us before proceeding. Any additional pricing is fixed and there are never any hidden charges – ever.
